Jack the car up, line up the sides at the wheel wells, use masking tape or painters tape to hold it on if you feel it necessary, drill holes through bumper and mount using supplied hardware. I bought mine back before they supplied the hardware or pre drilled the holes in the chin spoiler.
It is a lot easier with an extra set if hands but if you use the tape you can do it by yourself. I've done em by myself and with help.
The chin spoiler will sit back from the edge of the bumper in front and taper in to mount flush with wheel wells. It's supposed to fit like that so don't think it's too short or wrong size.

I thought the Mach1 chin spoilers fit all the way around, not like the GT ones where it's a little shorter.
Oh, screw that!
Yeah they take patience and precision to line up and mount correctly. I remember doing it on my old '99 Cobra was a chore but it actually lined up pretty damn well and looked amazing. At that time it wasn't really done on many cars especially Cobra's.
I actually installed mine the wrong way and left it for a few years before I finally took it off, refinished it and fit it right.
Good luck with it. It's really not that difficult. Just take your time and it'll look great.

yeah, We get these calls a lot and I even installed them and It is a bit confusing. Everyone wants to put them fully flush with with the bumper and the sides but it has to be set back and it really comes to preference as well.
Why can't they just make one that sits flush with the wheel wells and bumper![]()
